A beautiful love story that has a rocky path to travel (no pun intended!)
Truly and Jake rekindled their relationship on a basis of deceit and Jake's previous carefree and promiscuous lifestyle with the hope that their true love for each other can push through the barriers, perceived and real.
Surrounded by the band and associated staff, they are truly a family unit in itself, with all the love and pain you would come to expect. But the beat plays on , throughout the story, with music being the only way to communicate at times, and what girl wouldn't love to be serenaded? Jake wears his emotions on his sleeve throughout this book. Sweet, caring, innocence his bigger than the average man comment with dr amazon ;) and yet downright sexy as ever, Jake has you melting one moment and fanning the next!
Trudy frustrated me a bit in sections, a little too quick to judge or jump to a conclusion. It was their undeniable love for each other that held this book together and between the smirks, tears and contentment, that had me rating this book 4 stars. It's not a quick paced book, but one that leaves you in the glow of man's love for his one and only.
