This has been on my TBR list for a while, so glad I've finally got to it. It was nothing like I imagined, smiling to myself , as it felt like 400+ pages of foreplay! That seems tedious and frustrating but no, Gabriel is the most caring and loving masterful man and it didn't feel wrong at all. Don't get me wrong, I wanted to hurry 'it' along just as much as Julia but the angst and wait we're well worth it. Jumped right into Gabriel's Rapture and have to stop myself to write this before the second book influenced my thoughts on Gabriel's Inferno. Enjoyed the references to Dante and his work :)
