Fist two chapters had me wanting more, but I just didn't 'feel' Austin or his club much after that initial meeting with Amy. Story had potential but the dialog was not there though in my opinion. A short story that's OK but not what I expected, one where the cover seemed to promise a lot more than I found.
Amy is a 21 yr old , suffocating in her small town church community, when she happens to meet Austin, a visiting member of a biker gang in town. They arrange to meet up and Amy then decides to take a ride on the wild side, inspired by some of her favourite books.
It's a short story that felt dragged out in some sections, while rushed in others. Some situations (and I know this is fictional) didn't have me believing in the story. Maybe I've just picked up this to read at the wrong time, as I really enjoyed the first two teaser chapters.
