Slow to start, but once it got a short way into the book, the pace picked up. Callum and Sonia's story is one of acceptance and understanding, Sonia lost her parents at an early age and raised by her guardian, who have always cared and protected her. Unbeknown to Sonia, her life has been mapped out a long time ago by the ancients.
A solitary person, Sonia has few friends, has hew own shop and lives a simple life, that is until Callum comes into her life.
Sonia recognises Callum as the elusive one she dreams of and soon realises that reality is so different from a dream! He has plans and Sonia is caught up in a medieval world that she struggles to adjust too. Lots of steamy moments and angst as they battle on both wanting to maintain their sense of self.
Apart from the start, I loved this story and know that I'm keen for the next book.
