I love to get lost in a good book, especially ones that challenge and allow you to escape into another world!
Go check out Ana's Attic for a sneak preview of Reapers Legacy, there's a generous teaser that will whet your appetite for the next book in this series.

Reapers fans will be wishing the 28 January 2014 would hurry up and arrive. After reading the teaser, I'm sure that we're in for another 5 star read!
Mox and Eva make an interesting couple. Eva's easy to love and she turns out to be a breath of fresh air. Unfortunately Rocco, a cruel underworld boss, without a caring bone in his body, wants his toy back and when he does there's a good chance he plans to break her all over again. He’s a poor excuse for a man and he will stop at nothing to 'save face' and get her back.
Eva finds love like nothing she has ever dreamed of with the trinity falls MC. Instantly accepted, it just up to her to accept their love and support.
I admit it I do I always have one waiting to be next. Okay, maybe more than one.
I found about 25+ reviews that needed to be 'fixed' when my import was complete from GR! Slowly working my way through them and posting them as soon as they are edited / redone. Felt overwhelming at first but now it's become quite a cathartic exercise :)

Concept and generous contributions from the authors, is to be applauded. I look forward to returning to the short stories in between other books.
My aim is to read the short stories in-between books, eventually working my way through this collection. As I’ve read more stories, I’ll update this review. Once I've read the complete collection, I'll put up my rating.

A beautiful story that captured me from the moment my heart skipped a beat as I read the dedication to Maryse...
The first book in this series was great, this one was OK.
With the new boss
(show spoiler)The 'romance' / angst angle seemed a little rushed IMO. So I suppose what I'm really saying is that I hoped for more from this book and just didn't get it. Overall, my 'OK' rating for this book wouldn't put me off continuing with the series.
This was very close to being a 4 Star book!
An enjoyable MC read, with the added twist of being set in a dystopian world. There's a lot going on in Defiance. Conflict and mistrust seem to be the common thread both inside and outside the compound. Forward planning has the club well prepared for the chaos that struck the world and now they are able to exist comfortably, albeit a bit closer than normally.
Synthia (Sin) and her team have been given a new mission. A mission that will be dangerous, test their limits and ultimately their loyalty.
Having endured the horrendous death of her parents at a young age and her one true love die, she feels totally abandoned accept for her Coven. Together they embark on their latest mission, a dangerous one that will put them in reach of the people that Sin despises, the Fae.
Ryder is Fae and a cocky, self assured player. Sin is doing her best to get the job done, remaining true to her mission. There's just too much at stake not too.
I really enjoyed this book, but I want to point out that the characters overshadowed what in my opinion was a pretty unbelievable basis for a book, being set in a college. Maybe this is just my ignorance, but I’d be blown away if it was common practice!
Great characters, that were easy to relate to and being able to connect with Rylan / Evan and Dallas early on in the story, set up my ability to over think what they were actually up to.
Checked out Maryse's review of Exposure on her blog and it sounded like a good one. Bonus finding it was free on Smashwords! https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/317849

A short read that took me little longer to read than I anticipated. The Magpie Lord is a mystery dealing with family history / curse mixed in with the trappings of an old world social structure.
There’s an M/M attraction, that doesn't create much tension (IMO), more a case of hinted intention for the majority of the story. My preference in books is for a storyline that's a little more edgy and suspenseful. I chose this as a suggested book of the month and probably wouldn't have picked it up otherwise.
Book #2 in The Fae Chronicles
Synthia was definitely fighting her destiny in book 1 and it took me a hole to work out apart from the obvious, how or who’s destiny was being taunted in book 2. I found myself needing to define 'taunting' just in case I missed something. And like Syn, I spent too much time wondering, doubting and annoyed at what was being played out instead of lapping every sultry, enigmatic moment up. I could easily read this book again, just to relive those 'moments'.
