I'm in book purgatory!
Desperately hoping to be able to pick up the next book in this series, cause my mind is just racing with possibilities. I missed drama, begged for it and I got it.

The Prince, leads us through gentler times with Nora as she invades what I imagine to be Scarlet O'Hara territory. (no disrespect intended) Local royalty are not all as ready to accept the queen of kink, as their Prince is. He has high hopes, hoping to win her over with the purest of vanilla! But every now and then, you need a little spice to compliment the vanilla don't you?

Written with alternating chapters that move between the past and present frustrated me slightly, I just wanted to stay with Nora. The upside was you are taken back to when the characters journey to the 8th circle began and it is a beginning built on raw, unadulterated passion, possibly love and definitely devotion. A forbidden love that now haunts them with the 'untouchables' being grappled at brazenly by an unseen force. It wouldn't normally be my choice of material, but it was sensual and as beautiful as any 'romance(?)' I'd read before.

Nora is being spared from the drama which kind of left me feeling a little flat, but as you know, Nora can't help herself and her sassy charm can't be canned for long. There are some great comebacks from the mistress, that brought a smile to my face.

I have a new appreciation for Knightly and his place in the series. And the ending? Nothing else to do but check it if I can downlioad the next book. There's got to be one character or two in this series that will be feeling the wrath of Soren and wondering if he'll be able to deliver it, especially if it is the one that is following through on their promise.
